PARENT/CHILD ART WORKSHOP (3 Week Course)
$80 for 1 adult & 1 child or $40 per head
(includes all materials)
Sundays 1.00pm-4.00pm; 13th, 20th, 27th MAY
OR
Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm 9th, 16th, 23rd JUNE

This series of workshops is designed for Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, or anyone wishing to share the art experience with their children. Each week will focus on a different art experience - sculpture, painting, collage. You don't need experience, just enthusiasm for fun.

Come and discover your true creative ability. This class pursues the legacy that 'everyone can draw and paint', by learning fundamental techniques, which will open access to the skills, you already have! It is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters who want to overcome creative blocks. Materials and morning tea provided

MOSAIC - $140
THURSDAY 6.30 - 9.00pm

Mosaic is a contemporary art form with ancient roots and a rich cultural heritage. Mosaics can be functional or decorative works of art created by piecing together tiles, stones or broken crockery to create a design. Come learn and enjoy this innovative and unusual medium. There is an additional material fee of $15 (payable to instructor).

CREATIVE OIL PAINTING WORKSHOP - $140
WEDNESDAY 6.30 - 9.00pm

This course is designed to introduce you to the fundamental and expressive qualities of oil painting. You will learn how to prepare and stretch canvases for painting as well as how to use and explore the qualities of paint through the use of mediums, glazes and varnishes. There is an additional fee of $10 for shared class materials.

LANDSCAPE PAINTING - $140
Thursday 12:30 - 3.00pm

Learn to paint or extend your oil or acrylic painting skills in a friendly environment. This course will involve some outdoor painting and drawing as well as some studio development sessions. Suitable for beginners and intermediate painters.

POTTERY FOR CHILDREN - $90
Wednesday 3.30 - 5.00pm
Thursday 3.30 - 5.00pm

Children have great creative ability and imagination. These classes develop those talents and encourage individuality. Hand building, wheelwork and glazing are taught. Children always enjoy taking home their completed pottery works.
